Grand Rapids, MI 12.02.06 | Yesterday was a beautiful day for a winter wedding in Michigan … the ground was covered in snow and the sky was bright blue with amazing clouds! However, it was a bit chilly which made going outside for some pictures a bit tough, but it worked out and we were able to catch a few! Josh & Nikki were so laid back throughout the entire day, which made everything run very smoothly. Thank you guys - we had a great time being a part of your special day! Have a great time skiing in Colorado!

I stumbled upon your blog while blog-surfing on the topic of photography.
I like the way you combine traditional elements of portraiture with a sense of casualness. I think it makes your wedding photos far more real and approachable. They have a real warmth to them.
I would think that shooting formal events, especially weddings, is one of the toughest and most demanding assignments there is. You make it look easy.
